As in many other different areas, there is not a unique and interoperable solution to interconnect all the devices and services. Developers/providers have their own and/or proprietary solution and use it. In some specific cases, a rigid adaptation to other devices is developed. Besides that, there is a need to provide several User Interfaces adapted to different levels of knowledge and experience of the users of the system (the very user him/herself, nurses, physicians, personal caregivers, technical personnel, etc.).

Use the UCH and URC standards as a platform to integrate services and devices that use different communication protocols, in a simple, flexible, scalable and rapid way. The easy deployment of different User Interfaces allows the supply of User Interfaces adapted to the user’s needs – for example, physicians can see more health parameters, while technical personnel have the information centered in the technical infrastructure, system alarms, etc.
