Abstract

This document describes the various URC master documents for a light bulb. Vendors of this or similar devices should derive their URC documents from them.

Status of this Document

This is an Approved Technical Report (ATR), provided to the public by the openURC Alliance. It was developed by the openURC Technical Committee, and approved for publication as ATR by the openURC Board of Directors on 2016-09-15, in compliance with the TC procedures.

This document has been reviewed by the openURC Alliance members and by the public, and is endorsed by the openURC Board of Directors as an Approved Technical Report. It is a stable document and may be used as reference material or cited from other documents.

The User Interface Socket Description for a light bulb contains all elements to control on/off and the brightness (optional). All documents can be either used directly or can be extended.
