1. Introduction

A DVD Player (henceforth called "device") is any DVD player that can be controlled remotely (e.g. via infra-red remote or serial connection). All documents (see section Master Documents) can be either used directly or can be extended.

2. Conformance

A device conforms to this specification, if either one of the following is true:

A conforming device may employ the target description, as provided in section Master Documents. It may do so in literal or modified form.

A conforming device may employ the grouping sheet, as provided in section Master Documents. It may do so in literal or modified form.

A conforming device may employ the resource sheet, as provided in section Master Documents. It may do so in literal or modified form.
